I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
